1. Who is responsible for processing your data?
The entity responsible for processing your data is LAVALL ARRENDAMIENTOS DE VIVIENDA S.L., with contact address at Av. Diagonal, 534, Planta 9, 08006 Barcelona (Spain), hereinafter referred to as “Miravern”.
2. Why does Miravern use your personal data?
Depending on which forms or mechanisms enabled on www.miravern.com are used to provide personal data, Miravern uses this data to:
- send you newsletters about the company’s products, services, and activities via email,
- respond to information requests, suggestions, and/or inquiries, as well as, if applicable, information requests about certain real estate promotions,
- manage your participation in the company’s recruitment processes, and
- manage the reservation of the rental property you have shown interest in and conduct a feasibility study of your financial condition, and, if applicable, manage the subsequent rental relationship.
3. What are the legal bases for Miravern using your personal data?
The legal bases that allow Miravern to process your personal data are:
- the execution of the contractual relationship from the moment you start the property reservation process, and
- the consent you have given for other cases where your personal data is processed, by completing and submitting the forms enabled on the website or by contacting Miravern.
4. How long will Miravern retain your personal data?
Unless you have exercised your right to object to receiving newsletters or information about real estate promotions, in which case your minimum personal data will be retained to identify that you do not wish to continue receiving this information from Miravern, your personal data will be retained, once the purposes for which it was obtained have ceased, until the statutes of limitations of the liabilities that may arise from the processing of your data have expired and for the necessary periods to comply with any applicable legal obligation.
5. With whom does Miravern share your personal data?
If you subscribe to Miravern’s newsletters, your personal data may be accessible by The Rocket Science Group LLC (d/b/a Mailchimp), a company established in the United States of America that certifies its compliance with the Privacy Shield (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active).
Miravern does not share your personal data with other third parties unless it is necessary to comply with a legal mandate.
6. How has Miravern obtained your personal data and what categories of data are being processed?
If you have not directly provided your personal data to Miravern, it will have been provided to Miravern by the leaseholder who started the property reservation process.
In this case, Miravern has access, while you are a co-holder of the lease, to your identifying data, including, among others, name, surname, ID/passport number, email, and phone number, as well as data about your financial situation (including, among others, a copy of your employment contract, pension certificate, copies of the last three pay stubs, and the Tax Agency’s form 100).
7. What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?

You can exercise your data protection rights, where applicable, by sending a written communication to info@miravern.com indicating in the subject line “Web Miravern”. For these purposes, Miravern may request a copy of your current ID/passport or another valid document proving your identity.
In any case, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with another competent data protection authority.
